- This position gets to learn with the best IT service provider in the county. Put your skills to the test and design, deploy and maintain the full stack of the latest and best IT technologies, from the end user's workstation, through the Ethernet cable and the switches, to the servers, out the firewalls and routers to the internet and into the cloud. You will manage and secure all the data along the way and solve any problems that arise.
- Seeking an entry-level Computer Network Technician to join our team, building and managing both our internal IT infrastructure, and those of our clients. We are looking for a knowledgeable, creative and hardworking individual to help provide exceptional customer service in a team environment.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management of support tickets, maintenance of all managed equipment, software version control, installs, upgrades and troubleshooting issues.
- Monitor support queues and work with team members to insure all requests are met in a timely manner.
- Work closely with team members and outside support to provide resource planning.
- Document administration processes and procedures for seamless management of devices.
- Load and deploy new servers, workstations, routers and network equipment.
- Advanced troubleshooting of wireless networks.
- Administration and troubleshooting of databases (technologies and software).
- Advise clients on technology, business processes and strategic direction.
- Create quotes for equipment and repairs.
- Any other task or duty as required.
- Education/Experience:
- As an entry-level position, we expect you to be a natural-born learner and problem-solver. The following skills are a bonus if you have them and if not you will be learning and training on the job!
- Experience managing Enterprise-class servers and a deep knowledge of industry-standard best practices for server environments.
- Experience with server virtualization with specific knowledge of Microsoft Hyper-V.
- TCP/IP knowledge
- Working knowledge of Active Directory sites and service, Group Policy and DNS/DHCP, shares and permissions.

- Sophos Security, XG Firewalls
- Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365, SharePoint, Teams, Azure
- MCSA, MCSE, or MCTS certification
- Experience with standardized server configurations.
- Experience with shell scripting and automation tools.
